We have always loved to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, by far one of my favorite restaurants. But they never had one in Salt Lake. So only on vacation could I ever eat at one. Imagine on our first night here we stumbled upon a Factory, just a mere 15 minutes away, how excited I was. I'd saved up all my cheesecake desires for the anniversary dinner.
Last night we get there about 5:30. It looked pretty busy but we were seated immediately. Almost 15 minutes later, after I had to ask where our waiter was did she come to see us. I think she really meant well but she was a terrible waitress. She didn't bring us our water with drinks (smoothie and a coke), and she was slow in the first place. She took Ern's glass for refill but never brought it back. We ordered our cheesecake to go, but it came to us ready to eat, and then she grabbed my smoothie glass and asked Ern if he wanted a refill, and brought it back to him. He replied when he got the drink back, "yum fruity". I'm not sure if it was all the anticipation built up or just a bad evening, but for sure it was not my favorite Cheesecake memory. At least the food was good.
Then we went home and snuggled up to a good romantical movie, "The Notebook". A favorite love story. It reminds you of all your favorite falling in love moments and makes you want to fall in love all over again. Ahh, true love.
I thought it would be cute to post one of our wedding pictures with this post. But we don't have any on the computer. So imagine us, as cute young kids in love when you read this.
UPDATE: I decided to take of picture of a picture from my scrapbook. I know, not the best but know you don't have to imagine what we looked like 6 years ago on our wedding day!
