ALMOST FAMOUS!

So of course I think Abby is a super cute babe, and is as cute, if not cuter than most kids on TV or in Magazines. I had one friend beg me to put her in the "business".

Abby however just doesn't have the personality for it. And I really don't want to expose Abby to that anyway.

But my boss at work needed a kid for his commercial and they asked me to use Abby. I said I would have to ask her, and she said NO. I couldn't bribe her with anything. She kept saying, "I don't want to be on TV".

That's okay.

Copycat, copycat.

So Abby has learned the copy game, So Abby has learned the copy game.
We were playing in the car, we were playing in the car.

Mom: "I have the greatest mom in the world"
Abby: "I have the greatest dad in the world"
haha, funny

Mom: "I am a stinky bum"
Abby: "You are a stinky bum"
again, who taught her to copy?

Here's our cute thing summer 2006

Sorry for being so mysterious and dissappering.

So last time I post, I told everyone had sad I was, and then I don't post forever. Of course, I'm sure your all dying to really know how I am.

I went to my doc. Long story short... I'll be doing Clomid (again, for the umpeenth time), but he'll add a trigger shot which will take out any guesses of timing. I'll be monitored by ultrasound. Maybe in about 29-30 days from now, I'll have some news for you. He gives me hope, but it is still hard. If you want more than the Reader's Digest version call or email and I'll be happy to share more.

And now since I've been on the computer forever trying to catch up, and it's past Abby's bedtime. I'll leave you with this for now.

After the party. Time to get ready for Santa!

Here is our version of homemade cookies for Santa. You know you're a bad mom when your daughter has never enjoyed the delightful taste of cookie dough. Abby thought it was the best!

And of course the traditional pajama's - this year we also bought her a "rope" she lived in this for days!

Our Christmas Eve Traditions

For the last few years, we always had Christmas Eve dinner at our house. We'd invite over Ernie's family, use Heidi's super cute snowman plates, eat some yummy Ritzy chicken and exchange gifts. This year we decided to have some of our "Cleveland family" over for the tradition. I bought some snowman plates (thanks for the advice earlier), set up a nice table and we enjoyed some good food. The Mirci's, the Noorlander's and the Olsen's (minus Kelby), and the Copron's (who unfortunately were all sick and enjoyed our meal from their own home) were our guests. After some yummy grub, we had a white elephant exchange. The highlight of the gifts was Ralae opening our very funny gag gift- a male g-string with the words 'family jewels' on it. If the picture could only capture how funny the moment was, AND then Shalee thought it made a great hat. And no the Noorlanders did not move it too Nebraska with them, Joe took it home for keeps! It was a very fun dinner.

A Very Kalahari Christmas!

For those of you who don't know, Ohio has some great indoor waterparks. In a town about an hour away there are at least 4 of them (and Cedar Pointe, with the largest Rollercoaster). Anyway we went there the weekend before Christmas on a last minute getaway with our friends Joe and Diane, and their 3 little ones Joey, Dax, and Lola. (their blog) I had to make some last minute rearranging but we made it work (so sorry missionaries- I promise next time dinner will happen). We had a blast! We were the first to stay in the rooms, and they were really nice. The waterpark was fun, but Abby was a "little shy" of the waterslides, the game room was fun. We also saw a real baby kangaroo and baby lion, they were both super cute. The best part is that Santa as taking a little break before delivery time and we hung out with him a lot. We listened to him read stories, ate his candy and had some good times. We'll go back again! Thanks Mirci's for inviting us to come!

We're official

We've been so busy these last few weeks- there is lots of catching up to do. So I'll try not to overwhelm everybody (or spend WAY too much time on the computer) and post just one or two a day!

Onto the good stuff!

We are all officially Ohioans! I got my Drivers license in September when I started working. But last week Ern got his and our plates and registration are switched over too. We even registered to vote.

I'm a proud Ohioan! But still miss home.
