I'm really broken.

Just a quick update on my infertility struggle. I'm still broken. My doctor is planning on doing laproscopy surgery, likely on May 27th. He'll fix the dilation in my right tube and explore the rest of my insides to make sure nothing else is wrong. I'll keep you updated!

Best part of it all is my mom will come out for a week to take care of me. Thank goodness for Mom's!

A weekend getaway...

First of all, I can't seem to figure out how to format the pictures the way I want!
We needed a vacation! Some local friends recommend the Mochican State Park. So off we went. It's about 1 1/2 hours away from Cleveland. We splurged and got the cool cabin with a hot tub on the deck and a full kitchen! I said we needed a vacation. My hot tub picture seemed to have disappeared. We loved the "hot pool" as Abby called it. It was nice because we turned down the heat and it was perfect for Abby. And nice and relaxing for us. We probably spent a total of 4 hours in the hot tub.For mothers day they gave all the mothers a free round of mini-golf. It was fun, but man it was a hard course. I never claim to be an expert but I couldn't get the ball in the hole for anything. They also had canoeing and I really wanted to go, Ernie would have come too but Abby said no way. Maybe later in the summer I can convince her.
Here is Abby being pouty because "I'm not a good fisher" Minutes later dad caught our first fish. Here is our fancy schmancy kitchen. The cabin was beautiful. Cable was a treat and we loved watching the Disney Channel during our down time. The only 2 things I would change is the couch was not that comfortable and neither was the beds. The cabin had 2 doubles and 2 twins, needless to say coming from our "King isn't quite big enough at home", Ernie slept on one double and I slept on the other.
If I had to pick the best part of the weekend it would be the fishing, well and the beautiful weather on Saturday. Grandpa Bob made quite the fisher out of Abby, she even has her own fishing rod, Abby will correct you if you call it a pole. Sadly we left it at home. The gift shop had some to buy for $20, but we decided to get the primitive pole without a rod for $3.99, a net, and some worms. The campground has 2 catch and release lakes. On the bigger lake no one was catching anything, so we went to the smaller lake. And the fish didn't like our worms, but they liked hot dogs. So we probably caught about 15 fish. Abby loved it and couldn't wait to go again Sunday morning, but unfortunately it was pouring rain by the time we woke up.
We had so much fun we did not want to come back, 2 days was not long enough.

Abby's Music Observation

Have I ever told you guys how much I love Abby's preschool. Well I love it. The best part are the "specials". Among a million other best parts. Abby loves each and every one of them- Music, Drama, Science, and Library. We watched the kids earlier in the year during the music observation, this one was great. It's so fun to watch your child progress and grow. I'm certainly going to miss her preschool and girls in her class when the school year's over. But it's been so great for Abby.

The kids listening to the teachers. They listen so well.

Here's Abby, next to Stone (her cutie).

Abby and Stone holding hands. She once told me that maybe when she's a teenager, and Stone's a teenager they can be boyfriend and girlfriend. Obviously she knows she has to be 16.

Here is Abby and Matthew, they were so cute. A little later they paired up boy/girl and did a little dance. When they switched partners Abby got to dance with Nia, because there were more girls. She loved it.

And of course my cute little one. She sings this really cute lullaby she learned in music. It melts my heart to hear her sing, she is my little one. I'll really try to get Abby to sing on camera. She's adorable!

Walgreens is soo cool this week!

6 Pro-Health toothpastes
1 Febreeze Plug in
2 Charmin Wipes
1 Venus Razor
2 Herbal Essences Shampoo/Conditioner
1 clearanced lipstick
1 pack M&M's
All this for .17 out of my pocket and $9.89 on a rebate giftcard. Plus I still have $16 Walgreen Dollars to spend and I'll send in for a free pedicure with the Herbal Essence. I used a coupon for everything except the M&M's, and I had to buy those to make me in the positive.

"Dad, your my hero"

While cleaning Abby's room today we came across a very similar bug to this. I saw it first and it ran under her bed. Then a few minutes later it ran across the room. Abby saw it and was terrified and screaming so loud. Luckily, Dad smooshed him with a shoe.

Abby was eternally grateful and praised Ernie by saying, "Dad, your my hero". Ernie, thanks for saving our lives.
