Our splurge...

Ernie's been wanting a new TV for awhile now. We almost had a great steal at Target a few weeks ago but they all sold out (a $1000 TV for $700ish).

So he's been a little bummed since then. Thinking of what he almost had. But I REFUSED to pay full price or even a small bargain for a TV when we have a just fine one, that's the picture goes out every once in a while and you just have to stomp your foot to get it back (most of the time).

We had to run out to CompUSA, in Fairlawn (about 40 minutes away). To get some warranty stuff for Ern's laptop. Well, all stores are closing and everythng is 15% to 50% off. So of course we stop over and look at the flat screens. Last one left $675 marked down from over $900, 37".... just about everything Ernie wanted. And it fits our armoire.

Guess we have a new TV.

I am so jealous. Every time we pop in a DVD on movie night, the first thing we say is "We need a bigger TV." Hooray for your splurge!
