Oh WOW!

From babycenter.com

27 Weeks

How your baby's growing:

"This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle."

Overwhelmed. I cannot believe how my miracle is growing. I'm going to cry. I'm still so overwhelmed and grateful to to Lord for trusting me with 2 of his precious souls. This week I also found out my dear friend Jana is expecting a baby and progressing very well in her pregancy- she also suffered from secondary infertility like me. What a joyous day to celebrate!

I put on my calendar all of the vegetables. I thought they were so funny. I am glad your sweet cauliflower is doing well!

Your baby is huge! In a good way :) I love how much you appreciate being pregnant, I think it's helping me celebrate mine (if that makes any sense). Luv ya!

P.S. You totally announced Jana's pregnancy for me! I guess that's what I get for not checking her blog for 2 days ;)

Yay for us!! I have an ultrasound picture on my fridge and I seriously stare at it sometimes, then look down, thinking, "really? seriously?? That's IN THERE? It's MINE???" It's amazing!! I am so much more amazed and appreciative than the first time, that's for sure! (On my birthday when my family members called me I bragged that I'd thrown up for the first time that day, and they were all so proud!)
Love it all! Happy cauliflower!!
