Getting so close...

Let's see- I'm almost 36 weeks- WOW! Things are slowly coming together. And I mean slowly. I really want to work in the baby's room, get her crib set up, make curtains, put her clothes away- all that fun stuff- and I can't! Will it still be as fun after the baby is born?

Today I made some headbands to go with all my little clippies I have. Since I don't have a baby to test them on Abby's doll will have to do, although I'm sure the baby's head will be bigger.

And my cute swing we just put together. I told Ernie that this must mean we really are getting a baby. He just rubbed my tummy and said "yes, we are."

Abby is also starting to get really excited. I think it is because everything is BABY around here. And she can really see my belly. She has been so sweet, she'll come up and give the baby hugs and kisses, and talk to her. I still think she'll be in total shock when the baby arrives, heck everyone will. I do hope she handles it good!

And I don't think I posted here yet... But I'm pretty sure (99%) that we have settled on a name- EVA GRACE but we can't decide if we want to call her Grace (our #1 name) or Eva, after Ernie's Grandma Stevens. Ahh, decisions!

We went to the cool cemetery on Friday- Ern took lots of pics- I'll have to post some and tell you GHOST stories too!

Love the name! I can't believe you are so close. Did you have Abby early, on time, or late? What did you make the headbands out of, I guess I don't really need to be making any for our little man.

Yay, it's almost time! My sister Amy was 6 years old when Jill was born, and 7 when I was born. From what I hear she handled new siblings really well and was a BIG help for my mom!

Your headbands turned out way cute. What did you make them out of? It was nice catching up with you at Target the other day. Hope you are feeling okay!

I guess it would be cool if you knew what I made those headbands out of huh... I used nylons. Wel the pink ones are kids tights and I think they turned out the best, the other two are women's knee highs. I cut the nylons the size I wanted and then sewed up and through (entering the same side each time) and then across the finshed to give it a gathered look. Does that make sense? I watched Elise sew, but couldn't remember, so I made it up on my own.

I like the name Eva but I'm probably biased :)

So exciting! I loved making headbands and bows and such! I really like the name too. I like both names a lot, but Eva seems less common and I just love using family names! Good luck with everything!
