The fun things we did today.

Well today it was just me and Abby hanging out, Dad went with a friend and worked all day. Abby and I had lots of fun. I even took some good pictures.

Last night we caught some lightening bugs (aka fireflies). This morning we let them out. We always let them go the next day. This morning we also found a potato bug and played with him and met our new neighbor from Germany, and yes, we were still in our pajamas. We did buy this nifty bug catcher kit because one time, a lightening bug escaped during the night and was flying around our house, it was just a jar with holes poked in the top. Lightening bugs are one very cool thing about living in Ohio.

Abby isn't your typical girl. In addition to being a princess, she is a tomboy. She loves bugs (except spiders), cars, dirt, and playing with her friends that are boys, as most of the 4 year olds around here are boys. She also was an alien for Halloween last year and this year wants to be a lizard. But remember she is a princess. She loves to wear dresses, tiaras, play dolls, and remind everyone she is a princess. Last night she was mad because some other kids wouldn't play catch the princess with her (guess who the princess was?)

Then we spent a few hours scrapbooking (I'm working on an album from when Ern and I were first married), and Abby played some computer games.

Ah, time to shower. Our water bill was way too high last month so we have to cut back. We decided Abby will only be allowed showers. So she took a shower with me so I can teach her. We decided baths will be a reward!

Funny part, the handyman came to put up our new ceiling fans. I left one of the doors open. As I was drying off in the bathroom I hear him in my house. Embarrassing, I had him put up Abby's fan first while I got ready.

Then we decided to go outside and play. There is an elementary school just down the street. Abby knows it's where she'll go to Kindergarten and is already so excited. Anyway, we invited our neighbor Eric to come play. They had lots of fun at the park. There was another little girl there that they played with. (Sorry no pics from any of those activities)

When we got home Abby retreated to her room and has been there most of the night. After she wouldn't eat dinner I decided to see what she was up too. TA-DA! She's built a pet shop city.

Abby does own a lot of pet shop toys. I mean alot, she has over 80 pets and almost all of the houses. Since the pets are relatively inexpensive we used them as rewards to keep her room clean. We haven't done a sticker chart since we've been out here.

She was also being super cute, so I snapped a few of those precious smiles for my memory.

Now I've been blogging forever- does anyone know how to do this faster?

What a fun blog, Mis! I didn't even know you had one, so thanks for commenting on mine! I totally love changing my answers on those little quizzes, like which Sesame Street Character are you, until I agree with the results. Like at first I was Key Lime Cheesecake and I was like, yeah right, no I I'm not! Anyway, love your blog!
