Abby and Eric, neighbors and best friends

Our Zoo here in Cleveland is fabulous. The best part is Mondays are free for County residents. I can't believe we didn't go all summer- well actually I can. Some days were too humid, too rainy, or Abby was just in swim lessons. Anyway we've made it twice now. Once last week and then this week too. We went with our neighbors Ralae, Eric and Shalee- and then some other friends, different each time.



The first Monday was too humid, we were sweating so bad. We did have lots of fun anyway. My favorite part was this sea lion. He would swim around hooting, then jump on land right in front of us and put on a show. Most of the animals were in open area cages (not bars) and they also had a huge variety of animals I'd never seen before.

Here is Abby's best girlfriend Nataya, and her little brother Ashton, who Abby doesn't always like (he's a little rough an tries to wrestle her). I don't think Abby means to have a grumpy look on her face.

The second Monday was beautiful weather, mid 70's and low humidity. But the zoo was packed. We came this second week to go to the other part of the zoo, the monkeys and fish. They were both lots of fun.

We also went to the special dinosaur exhibit. There were animatronic dinosaurs that were way coo and realistic. Abby wouldn't get close at all. But here she is on a prop with the boys (there were 9 kids there, Shalee was the only other girl and she's 1)- it's a boy world out here.
