Glasses, oh my!
It's surprising when I have better than perfect vision, and Ernie has slightly imperfect vision (only a slight prescription for reading), that Abby would need glasses at age 5. She's had a few vision screenings and has been inconsistent with the results. After the second one I decided to just go get it tested at the optometrist. He said she has about 20/100 in the right eye, and 20/50 in the left eye. Yep severe farsightedness, with a good chance of lazy eye because of the significant difference in eyes. We are actually going to a pediatric specialist later this month and then we'll get the glasses after he sees her. Abby seems pretty excited, she's already picked out a cute pair of purple frames!

Yea! Tell her I wore glasses since I was little too! At least you let her pick out her glasses. My mom always picked mine out.....

She will look so cute in them. Did she every complain of headaches or anything?
Misty remember thats how I used to be whrn I was a kid. I had to wear the eye patch. Now my vision is 20/40 in the left and 20/20 in the right. She might grow out of it.
I think she will be as cute as ever with glasses.... little sassy ones!:)
Those pictures of Abby are to die for - seriously so cute, she should be in a magazine. I'm so glad you and your little family are doing so well.
Misty, Jeff and I were doing the rams fingers and claps after the movie...we TOTALLY thought of you and your fabulous Alma Mater. It's about Flagstaff rugby too, so yay for my hometown!
I love looking at those pictures of Abby! I click on your blog every few days and see her gorgeous smile and it just makes my day! also, I had a wierd question, I admire how you get those great deals shopping and I wanted to know what your secret was!?!? Also, what's new? Miss you guys!
