The ride up there was fabulous. The trees were so pretty I couldn't believe my eyes. However we waited over an hour on the bridge to cross Canada- and I had indigestion from too much junk food! It was a miserable. We checked into our hotel room and hit the pool, Abby's favorite thing always. Then we went to dinner at TGI Fridays. I do have to say the the food there is very expensive, especially since the US dollar and the Canadian dollar are virtually the same right now. Then we drove by the falls lit up at night, and went back to the hotel for some good sleep.
The next morning we went off to be tourists. Our main attraction was Maid of the Mist. It was really fun and so cool to be in the water, the wind blew pretty hard when we were on the boat and so we got pretty wet. But well worth it, and since it was perfect weather we dried quickly. Then we went walking around, hit the Hershey store where we saw the best looking bar of chocolate (5 lb bar). Ate some more food, hit some tourist shops and went home.
Luckily the ride home was uneventful, and so pretty. By the time we got back to Cleveland the weather turned ugly. We just played cards and hung out the rest of the time! Amy headed out on Tuesday to get back to school.
