Just in case anyone wanted to know...

So if you didn't figure it out the online pregnancy test does not work. I am not with child...

Here's a long story... skip if you really don't care.

I didn't need to test (even though I did first thing this am). AF started right on time. I'm pretty heartbroken and upset, really bad this morning. So my new plan was to get a HSG this month and Ern and SA. I call the RE's office to schedule the appointment. They said they had no openings for an HSG and I'd have to WAIT until next month. I begged and pleaded, cried. It was awful. The doctors were busy with a meeting. The nurse was trying to be nice enough and referred me a a different hospital that she thought would do it for me. But since I wasn't super happy with the RE in the first place, and did not want to do clomid again I called the other RE office in town.

They said they could get me in on the 20th for a consult (CD 7). After I hung up I realized I should probably know whether to take medication or not and if he would switch me to femara without meeting me. The nurse I talked to was very reassuring, told me how the practice worked, what she believed the doctor would do, and got me in for a consult an hour later.

I went to the consult, gave him my whole story. And he decided he thought this was the best plan for me. For me to take the Femara (letrozole) CD 3-7, on Monday CD 5 he scheduled me for an HSG. He asked me to do OPK's and the day after the surge to schedule an IUI (and do a SA at the same time). That was easy. no bloodwork, no US, just a sit and chat. I did ask him about the trigger shot, he said he could if I wanted to but he thought the ultrasounds and shot just were an added increase of money with no real benefits of success. He said he would do up to 6 cycles of femara, but if I wanted to get more aggressive before the 6 to let him know.

So in the end I feel okay today. I'm not as upset as I was earlier. I'm a little scared about the HSG and IUI, but I've heard lots of stories and neither seem to bad.

Wish me luck, I actually need more than luck, I need a miracle.

So I found a funny website. It can tell by virtual radr if you are "pregnant" or not. Of course it says I am, yesterday I was having a blond hair blue eyed girl and the mailman is her daddy- must have been a sub because I'm pretty sure our mailman wouldn't lead to a blue eyed blonde hair baby. Anyway it's lets you choose a different daddy if you want too, so the next daddy was Janet Reno, and then Fabio!

Today I tried again and I'm having a baby boy with Pee-Wee Herman.

BRRR, it's cold

So it's a cool 9* out here. With the windchill -14*. About the coldest day I've ever had. I wonder what the night will be?

And my grocery shopping bill was $242, then came advantage card, then coupons equals $134- a 44% savings. Did I tell everyone I LOVE COUPONS! (and bargain hunting too)

Our splurge...

Ernie's been wanting a new TV for awhile now. We almost had a great steal at Target a few weeks ago but they all sold out (a $1000 TV for $700ish).

So he's been a little bummed since then. Thinking of what he almost had. But I REFUSED to pay full price or even a small bargain for a TV when we have a just fine one, that's the picture goes out every once in a while and you just have to stomp your foot to get it back (most of the time).

So last night we took Abby and her friend Nataya to see the Wizard of Oz. It was so fun and really good. Abby read the book at school and we borrowed the movie from the library. And Abby constantly requested to see it. The only drawback is we went to the 7:30 show at it was 3 hours long...

So of course I think Abby is a super cute babe, and is as cute, if not cuter than most kids on TV or in Magazines. I had one friend beg me to put her in the "business".

Abby however just doesn't have the personality for it. And I really don't want to expose Abby to that anyway.

But my boss at work needed a kid for his commercial and they asked me to use Abby. I said I would have to ask her, and she said NO. I couldn't bribe her with anything. She kept saying, "I don't want to be on TV".

Sorry for being so mysterious and dissappering.

So last time I post, I told everyone had sad I was, and then I don't post forever. Of course, I'm sure your all dying to really know how I am.

I went to my doc. Long story short... I'll be doing Clomid (again, for the umpeenth time), but he'll add a trigger shot which will take out any guesses of timing. I'll be monitored by ultrasound. Maybe in about 29-30 days from now, I'll have some news for you. He gives me hope, but it is still hard. If you want more than the Reader's Digest version call or email and I'll be happy to share more.

And now since I've been on the computer forever trying to catch up, and it's past Abby's bedtime. I'll leave you with this for now.
